How does the Netcash Payment Gateway work:
As previously mentioned, payment gateways act as an intermediary between your online store and your customers.
- A customer adds an item to their shopping cart on your website.
- When the customer is ready to complete the purchase, they go to the checkout page and fill out their delivery details.
- From the cart the customer is directed to the gateway. Customers can select their preferred payment method, such as Debit or Credit Card, Instant EFT, Bank EFT or QR Code
- The Netcash Payment Gateway processes the payment and notifies the merchant and the customer once the payment has been successfully made.
- The payment value is deposited into your Netcash account. This can amount be transferred, at your convenience to the bank account linked to your Netcash account.

How to accept payments with your online store
Step 1:
Activate Pay Now
To accept payments from your customers, you need to activate the Pay Now service in your Netcash account. To activate this service, log in to your account, navigate to ‘Account profile’, ‘My Space’, ‘Service agreements’, click on the Pay Now icon and insert the email generated token
The service status will update to ‘requested’ and your Netcash Relationship Consultant will be in touch to help you complete the application.
Step 2:
Complete the application
You will be required to provide your Relationship Consultant with some mandatory paperwork to make sure that we are complying with industry regulations.
Step 3:
Start accepting payments
When the Pay Now service has been approved and activated, and your plugin has been downloaded, you can copy & paste the Pay Now service key on your website. Save your changes and you can start accepting payments immediately.
