How Capitec Pay works

Capitec Pay is available as an Instant EFT option on the Netcash Payment Gateway. It is automatically activated when you choose to accept Instant EFT via Ozow on your account, boosting your sales with a faster checkout and payment experience.

  1. At checkout, customers select Capitec Pay as their payment option.
  2. They enter their cellphone number and ID number to access their profile securely.
  3. Via the Capitec app, they tap Transact > Capitec Pay and approve their payment.
  4. Once payment is successfully processed, it will appear in your Netcash account. You will be instantly notified of successful payments via SMS and Email.
