How SCode works

At checkout, the customer chooses to pay via SCode. They will be asked to enter a mobile phone number or email address to receive their unique barcode voucher.

The customer can print the email or take the SMS on their mobile phone to any of the participating retailers to make payment with cash, credit or debit card.

Once payment has been made, the funds will show in your Netcash account.

Yes. Once SCode is enabled on your Netcash Payment Gateway, customers can choose Retail Payments (SCode) at checkout. They’ll receive a barcode voucher by SMS or email, which can be taken to over 6 000 retail outlets to complete payment with cash, debit or credit card. Once payment is made, Netcash automatically confirms and allocates it to your account.
Can I integrate SCode with my existing systems?
Yes. Netcash provides full API documentation and technical support for custom integration into websites, mobile apps, or billing systems. This allows you to automate barcode generation and payment reconciliation within your own platform.
Do I need a separate SCode account to accept Retail Payments?
No additional account is required. You only need an active Netcash account with the Payment Gateway service enabled to start accepting SCode Retail Payments.
