The most significant update to our Netcash Mobile App is biometric login. Response to our survey following the launch of our mobile app was overwhelmingly positive and we are pleased to launch the second phase now. Biometric login for the Netcash Mobile App means that instead of manually typing in your Netcash password every time you want to login to your account you are able to use your fingerprint. This feature requires you to have a mobile device that has fingerprint recognition enabled.
Biometric authentication for apps is growing in popularity because it is convenient, especially on mobile. This type of login is fast, user-friendly, and easy to implement. Biometric login is just as safe as a password login, and it is also an opt-in feature so that you can decide whether to use it or continue to use a password login.
General improvements have been made to the speed and loading time of the app, as well as other usability enhancements.
We will continue to tweak and improve the user experience of our app so that it adds value and helps to optimise the payments experience of our users and their customers.
