Lifestyle Cruises is a tour operator who offers holiday cruise packages to South Africans going abroad. Their most popular packages include cruises to the Mediterranean, specifically countries such as Italy and Greece, as well as other mystical destinations like the Northern lights in Norway.
We asked Carla a few questions as to why Lifestyle Cruises signed-up with Netcash as a payments partner.
Which Netcash services are you currently using?
We use Pay Now, a cloud-based application that allows our customers to pay online and securely with their credit card. They have the option to either pay their deposits, balances or make
amendments to their bookings through Netcash. We then collect the money from our Netcash account and transfer it into our business account.
Does your software integrate with Netcash?
Our Sage software is a Pastel Partner accounting product and it integrates seamlessly with the Netcash online payment platform. The combined integration between Pastel Partner and Netcash, gives us a great sense of security when dealing with our customer’s money.
What problems were you trying to solve with Netcash?
We were trying to find a secure way that allowed our clients to pay us. Our business operates as a call centre and fraud is a real risk. Asking them to relay their credit card information over the phone was not an option for them or us.
We knew we needed to find a more secure solution for our customers and we found the Netcash online Pay Now facility a great way for us to offer the option of secure credit card payments as well as giving peace of mind.
What made Netcash stand out from other service providers?
Netcash was able to integrate with our chosen accounting package. Everything became more seamless in terms of our accounting package and Pay Now facility.
Name one thing about Netcash that makes your life easier?
Netcash has allowed us to capture all our transactions in one space, maintain a history of all those transactions so we can allocate them to bookings and give our customers peace of mind when we collect their personal information.
