Do I need a merchant account to use Netcash Billing?
When you open a Netcash account, a merchant account is automatically provided. All payments are received and settled here, allowing you to reconcile multiple client and platform payments in one secure statement.
What security measures are in place for your credit card payment services?
Netcash is PCI Level 1 Compliant, and ISO27001 certified. All of our credit and debit card transactions are 3D secure enabled. We follow strict standards to ensure your customers' data is safe.
How do I receive customer payments through Netcash Billing?
All payments made via the Netcash Payment Gateway are paid into your secure Netcash merchant account. You can withdraw funds into your business bank account or use them to make other business payments like salaries or creditor payments.
Which payment methods are available?
Clients can pay your business via credit or debit card, Ozow or Capitec Pay Instant EFT, Bank EFT, Scan to Pay, Payflex, 1Voucher, SCode retail payments, and more. The options presented to the client will depend on which payment methods you have activated on your Netcash account. Chat to us to find out more.
Am I able to accept foreign currency through the payment gateway?
While your customers can pay with foreign bank cards (as long as they are 3D secure enabled), all of your transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR) into your account. As a South African payment provider, we are unfortunately not able to offer forex services.
Are there software solutions for managing billing?

Can credit card transactions be returned?
Yes, credit card holders can return or dispute credit card transactions up to 180 days after the transaction has taken place.
